After reading a story in USA TODAY about the church and its efforts to serve the Karen people, director Steve Gomer believed this inspiring true story needed to be made into a feature film. He enlisted the help of writer Steve Armour to craft the screenplay and, after filming in Smyrna, Tennessee in the fall of 2016, their movie will open in theaters August 25!
